Dining in a musical atmosphere in a former plantation dating from 1848 "New Orlean's" or enjoying refined dishes at the nearby "Mahogany" restaurant, nothing is missing in the neighborhood. You can also taste the excellent chocolates from Anne Solène, very close to the Habitation.
The Villa is one of the resort properties built by Gérard Michel Corbin and features prominently in the 2017 edition of Guadeloupe Heritage

Gérard Michel Corbin, architect of the colonies - Martinican architect (1905-1975) keen on modernism, he worked in Guadeloupe from 1930 and became, in 1944, “Architect of the colonies”. He received numerous awards for his work: the Palais de la Mutualité, the music kiosk on Place de la Victoire, the Banque de la Guadeloupe... It was he who, in 1956, requested that the standards " seismic protection" are applied in Guadeloupe for public buildings.
